1. Add a New Web Domain in StoreConnect
Open the StoreConnect app in Salesforce.
Go to: StoreConnect Navigation → Configuration → Advanced → Web Domain.
Click New.
Enter the Web Domain you want to add.
Click Save.
2. Configure DNS Settings
After saving, a Target field will be generated.
Copy this Target value.
Go to your Web Domain Host (DNS provider).
Create a new CNAME record:
Paste the Target into the record.
Set Time To Live (TTL) to 1 minute (for faster initial resolution; can be adjusted later).
Save the DNS record.
3. Activate the Web Domain
Return to the StoreConnect app.
Edit the newly created Web Domain record.
Enable (tick) Active.
Click Save.
4. Confirm Domain Connection
The status will initially be Pending.
Once connected, it will update to Success.
If there’s a problem, the status will show Failed.
5. Finalize in Store Record
Go to your StoreConnect Store record.
Edit the Store Domain Name field.
Insert your new custom domain.
Save the changes.
Verify by clicking the link to ensure it resolves to your StoreConnect store.
6. (Optional) Disconnect or Remove a Web Domain
Return to the Web Domain record.
Edit the record and untick Active.
Save the record.
Once it shows as Disconnected, you can delete the record if desired.
