1. Navigate to Product Setup
In Salesforce, open the StoreConnect App.
Go to StoreConnect Navigation > Products > Setup Products.
Choose “Single Product” to add one product (use “Multiple Products” for bulk imports).
2. Enter Basic Product Details
Product Name: Internal reference (e.g., Steve).
Display Name: What customers will see on the storefront.
Check the following boxes:
Active: Makes the product visible in the store.
Master Product: Leave this checked unless this is a variant.
Virtual Product: Check this only if the product is not shipped physically.
Available On Date: Set to any past date so the product becomes purchasable immediately.
Fields like cost price, brand, SKUs, barcodes, etc. are optional for internal use and can be filled in later if needed.
3. Add a Product Description
Scroll to the Page Content section.
Fill in the Summary — this is the live description that appears on your product’s page.
4. Save the Product
Click Save to create the product.
This will take you to the product record page with a status panel at the top:
✅ Green eye icon = visible
✅ Green cart icon = purchasable
❌ Red icons = required steps still missing
5. Set a Price
Scroll to Price Books.
Click Add Standard Price.
Enter the price (e.g.,
$25), mark it as Active, and click Save.Optional:
Add a Sale Price (this will appear crossed out next to the new price).
Hide the price and show a custom label (e.g., “Price on Request”).
Click “Sync Price Changes” to apply changes instantly.
6. Assign to a Category
Scroll to Categories Containing This Product.
Click New, select the product, and assign it to a category (e.g., Products & Services).
(Optional) Set a Position to reorder it in the category list.
Make sure it's Active, then click Save.
7. Upload Product Media
Click the Content tab on the product record.
Under Media Upload, click “Click to Upload”.
Enter a name for the media.
Choose File Type: Image.
Upload from your computer or import via a URL.
Click Save to attach the image to the product.
8. Final Review & Go Live
Refresh the product record page.
Confirm that all indicators are green in the status panel:
✅ Eye = visible on site.
✅ Cart = can be purchased.
Visit your storefront to confirm:
Product is listed.
Price and description are visible.
Image is correctly displayed.
"Add to Cart" button is active.
