Set up POS

Here's an overview of the setup tasks. Depending on how your business works and your physical outlet setup, you may need to do some or all tasks.

POS set up tasks

1. Configure your POS access URL - this is required to connect your store to POS
2. Add an outlet - this is the physical location of the POS
3. Add registers - these are the transaction POS points in the store
4. Configure the outlet as a stock location - so you can treat the store as a stock location for inventory tracking
5. Define cash rounding rules - this generally aligns with financial compliance requirements for your region
6. Configure accepted payment methods for POS
7. Set up POS users
