▶️ Configure click & collect

1. Enable Shipping for Your Store

  • Open the StoreConnect App in Salesforce.

  • Open the StoreConnect Navigation (bottom right).

  • Go to Configuration > Stores > All Stores.

  • Select your store and click Edit.

  • Scroll down to the Shipping section.

  • Check the box to enable shipping.

  • Click Save.


2. Create a Stock Location for Click and Collect

  • Under Key Relationships, go to Stock Locations.

  • Click New to create a stock location:

    • Select your store.

    • Give the location a name and mark it as Active.

    • In Fulfillment Options, choose:

      • Click and Collect only, or

      • Shipping and Click and Collect.

    • Enter the address of the location.

    • Optional:

      • Require available stock to show at checkout.

      • Enter estimated wait time (in days) for customer notification.

  • Click Save to create and assign the location.


3. Set Up a Collection Point

  • Go to StoreConnect Navigation > Configuration > Locations.

  • Scroll to Collection Points and click New:

    • Select the stock location created earlier.

    • Enter a name for the collection point.

    • Choose the store it belongs to.

    • Set a lead time (e.g., 4 hours before order can be collected).

    • Optional: Add a description or phone number.

    • Make sure it’s Active, then click Save.


4. Enable Pickup for the Product

  • Open the product record (e.g., Steve’s Mystery Box).

  • Click Edit, then:

    • Under Stock Information, check Track Inventory.

    • Scroll to Shipping Methods and enable Pickup in Store.

  • Click Save.


5. Set Product Stock at the Collection Location

  • Go to the Stock Location you created.

  • Click Edit and:

    • Use Set Quantity to define initial stock (e.g., 50 units).

    • Optional: Check Allow Backorder to let customers purchase even with no stock.

  • Click Save.

  • The record now shows Available to Sell and Count on Hand values.


6. Test the Click and Collect Setup

  • Visit your store’s website.

  • Add the product to the cart and proceed to checkout.

  • Under the Delivery section:

    • Click and Collect will be available.

    • Choose the collection point (if more than one is configured).

    • Customer selects a preferred collection date.

  • Once the order is placed, the customer is notified of:

    • Collection date

    • Lead time

    • Collection point address
