1. Access the Bulk Product Creation Tool
Go to Salesforce App Launcher.
Search for and open StoreConnect Config App.
Open Product Setup.
Click Create Bulk Products.
2. Configure Product Data Table
You’ll be prompted to configure the Product Data Table.
- This determines which fields will be included for each new product.
Set Visible Columns:
Basic fields (default):
Product Name
Display Name
Active (Yes/No)
Available On Date
Add additional fields as needed:
Under Supplementary, you can add:
Brand
Condition
Product Description
Many more available options.
Configure Price Book Entry:
List Price
Active (Yes/No)
Other pricing options.
Configure Product Category:
Assign categories during bulk creation.
Set as Active.
Once configured, click Save Settings.
3. Enter Product Data
Manually Add Products
Click the + button to add rows (one per product).
For each row, enter:
Product Name
Display Name
Active status
Track Inventory (Yes/No)
Available On Date
For more fields:
- Click three dots → enter Product Description and other details.
Add Pricing and Category
Use the Pricing tab to:
Select Price Book.
Set List Price.
Set Active status.
Use the Category tab to:
Select Product Category.
Set Active status.
Bulk Edit Multiple Rows
Select multiple rows → make a change → apply to all selected rows.
This is helpful for mass updates (e.g. setting all products to Active).
4. Upload from CSV (Optional)
You can also upload products via CSV file instead of manual entry.
Use the Upload option in the interface.
5. Save and Validate
Click Save to create the products.
If there are any errors (e.g. duplicates), an error warning will appear next to affected rows.
Review and correct any issues → re-save.
6. Verify Created Products
Go to Products List View.
You’ll see your newly created products listed.
Click on any product to verify:
Price Book Entry is created.
Product Category is assigned.
Now you can upload media (images, videos, etc.) to complete setup.
Notes
You can create a very large volume of new products in a single session.
The Settings Cog Wheel lets you adjust columns at any time.
The tool supports both manual entry and CSV import for flexibility.
Bulk editing multiple rows at once saves time when applying common settings.
