▶️ Import new products

1. Access the Product Uploader

  1. Go to App Launcher and search for StoreConnect Config App.

  2. Open StoreConnect Config App.

  3. From the dropdown menu, select Product Setup.

  4. Click Import Products.


2. Prepare the CSV File

  1. You’ll see a history of any previous imports. To start a new one, click New Import.

  2. Download the Sample CSV file provided.

  3. Open the CSV and edit it to add your products:

    • Basic fields include: Product Name, Display Name, Active Status, Available On Date, Price Book Entry, Currency, Price, Product Category, Position in Category, Variant Info, Media URLs, etc.

    • You can add or remove columns as needed.

  4. Notes:

    • Up to 10,000 rows per upload.

    • Each product can include:

      • Up to 5 Price Book Entries.

      • Up to 5 Product Categories.

      • Up to 5 Variants.

      • Up to 5 Media Files.

    • Max capacity: 260,000 individual records in one CSV.


3. Upload the CSV and Map Fields

  1. Save your edited CSV file.

  2. Upload the CSV in the New Import screen.

  3. Map CSV columns to Salesforce target fields:

    • Click Auto Match to attempt to automatically map fields.

    • Manually adjust any unmapped fields (e.g. Currency if not applicable).

  4. Click Next.

  5. Review and verify the field mappings.

  6. Click Import Data.


4. Review Import Results

  1. Wait for the import to complete (status will show Completed).

  2. Click View Results:

    • Download and check the Success Log for successful imports.

    • Download and check the Error Log for any errors (e.g. duplicate product names).

  3. If errors occur:

    • Correct the CSV.

    • Re-upload and re-run the import.


5. Reimporting CSV (Safe Re-import)

  • The import process is idempotent:

    • You can upload the same CSV again.

    • Existing product records will be matched and not overwritten or duplicated.

    • Only new records will be added.


6. Verify Imported Products

  1. Go to: StoreConnect Navigation → Products List View.

  2. Check imported products:

    • Confirm visibility on site.

    • Confirm Price Book Entries.

    • Confirm Media is linked and visible.

    • Confirm Variants (if applicable).

  3. Preview products on your website to ensure they are correctly displayed.
