Salesforce Admin

1: Access Salesforce Package Installation

Go to the Quick Find bar in Salesforce, search for "Packages," select Installed Packages, and click Visit AppExchange.


2: Log In or Create Trailblazer Account

If you have a Trailblazer account, log in. If not, click Sign Up and use your Salesforce account to create one. Sign in with your Salesforce credentials and allow access.


3: Find and Install Store Connect

Search Store Connect in the AppExchange, select it, and click Get It Now. Choose where to install, select Install in Production, agree to the terms, and confirm. Re-log into Salesforce, choose Install for Admins Only, grant access, and wait for the installation to complete.


4: Open Store Connect App

Go to the App Launcher, search for Store Connect, and open it. Choose to sign up for a plan, enter an installation key, or start a free trial.


5: Create and Configure Sync User

If no sync user exists:

  • Go to Setup → Users → New User.

  • Name it “Sync User,” give it an email, and set a unique username.

  • Set User License to Salesforce Integration and Profile to Minimum Access API Only Integrations.

  • Save, then assign Salesforce API Integration license and the Store Connect Sync Standard and Store Connect Sync User permissions.

  • Verify the email, reset the password in another browser, and complete setup.


6: Connect Sync User to Store Connect

Return to Store Connect setup, select the sync user, enter its password, input the verification code from email, and connect.


7: Assign Store Connect Page Layouts

In Object Manager, search and assign the Store Connect page layouts to the required six objects (starting with Product) for relevant profiles.


8: Name and Create Your Store

Enter a store name, click Create Store, and continue setup in the Store Connect console.


9: Customize Store

  • (Optional) Apply a theme.

  • Configure a payment method (e.g., Stripe, Pay Later).

  • Set up shipping providers and tax settings.


10: Add Your First Product

Click Create Product, add details, upload an image, and save.


11: Test and Complete Setup

Run a test order in your storefront, then click Complete Setup to finish.
