Theme importer

Theme Importer allows users to improve their store's visual and structural presentation quickly by installing pre-built themes that are compatible with StoreConnect’s theme framework.

Whether sourced from StoreConnect’s official theme library or developed independently, themes can be imported for preview, testing, and live deployment.

Prerequisite

The platform sends an import status via email, Salesforce Deliverability settings must allow email communication and be set to "All Email".

Installing a theme

Access the theme importer tool using the app launcher or the StoreConnect Navigation tool. Follow the 3 step wizard to perform the import.

1. Selecting the .zip file representing the theme to be imported.

2. The system automatically validates the contents of the zip file. While folders such as templates/, assets/, and translations/ are not required, if they are present, they must contain at least one file to be considered valid. Empty folders will be flagged and may cause partial or failed imports.

3. You can provide a your own name for a theme, making it easier to identify.

The system imports the theme and visually flags any errors or missing components. Successfully imported components are marked green for clarity.

Use the Theme Preview feature to test your new theme before configuring your store to use this theme.
