This will be something like **www.yourstore.com/pos**\n-   The register code set up in StoreConnect\n-   A PIN to sign in with\n\n## Connect a register at POS \n\n1.  In a browser, go to the POS URL provided by your System Admin.\n2.  Click **Connect Register**.\n3. Confirm that you want to connect the register. \n5.  When someone goes to use the register, they will be prompted to [start a shift](pos-starting-a-shift).\n\n## Disconnect a register at POS\n\nOnly a person with the right permissions can disconnect a register. Data can be lost if you disconnect mid shift.\n\n1.  Lock the register.\n2.  Select **Disconnect** from the menu. You should get a warning about ersing data that has not been synced. \n3.  Confirm that you want to disconnect.\n\nYou can also disconnect a register directly in Salesforce if this process does not work.
