To make your **feed** active you only need to ensure your products meet the necessary [prerequisites](facebook-catalogue-data-feed) below.\n\nThe Facebook Catalog Data Feed is a list of all products to be uploaded and kept synchronised with a [Facebook Commerce Manager](https://www.facebook.com/commerce_manager/) account.\n\nA Facebook Commerce Manager account is the management platform for the Facebook network including Facebook Marketplaces and Instagram.\n\nNote, we also automatically generate a [View the Google Merchant feed](google-merchant-feed).\n\n## Prerequisites\n\nTo have a product show up in the merchant feed, the following must be true of each product:\n\n1. It must be active\n2. It must not be deleted\n3. It must have an available on date in the past\n4. It must have no discontinued at date or if present, it is in the future\n5. It must have \"Sync to Google\" selected in the product page\n6. It must have a price greater than $0\n7. It must have an image\n8. It must have a meta title\n9. To show shipping, it must have shipping options defined\n\nOnce all requirements have been met, the product will show up within 6 hours in the `/merchant_feed/facebook.xml` file on your store site.\n\n## What is the `merchant_feed/facebook.xml` file?\n\nThis is a file StoreConnect automatically generates once a day and is accessible via the below URL.
