Navigate to Product Setup**\n\n-   In **Salesforce**, open the **StoreConnect App**.\n\n-   Go to **StoreConnect Navigation \u003e Products \u003e Setup Products**.\n\n-   Choose **“Single Product”** to add one product (use “Multiple Products” for bulk imports).\n\n\n---\n\n### **2\\. Enter Basic Product Details**\n\n-   **Product Name**: Internal reference (e.g., *Steve*).\n\n-   **Display Name**: What customers will see on the storefront.\n\n-   **Check** the following boxes:\n\n    -   **Active**: Makes the product visible in the store.\n\n    -   **Master Product**: Leave this checked unless this is a **variant**.\n\n    -   **Virtual Product**: Check this only if the product is **not shipped physically**.\n\n-   **Available On Date**: Set to **any past date** so the product becomes purchasable immediately.\n\n\nFields like cost price, brand, SKUs, barcodes, etc. are optional for internal use and can be filled in later if needed.\n\n---\n\n### **3\\. Add a Product Description**\n\n-   Scroll to the **Page Content** section.\n\n-   Fill in the **Summary** — this is the **live description** that appears on your product’s page.\n\n\n---\n\n### **4\\. Save the Product**\n\n-   Click **Save** to create the product.\n\n-   This will take you to the product record page with a **status panel** at the top:\n\n    -   ✅ Green **eye icon** = visible\n\n    -   ✅ Green **cart icon** = purchasable\n\n    -   ❌ Red icons = required steps still missing\n\n\n---\n\n### **5\\. Set a Price**\n\n-   Scroll to **Price Books**.\n\n-   Click **Add Standard Price**.\n\n-   Enter the **price** (e.g., `$25`), mark it as **Active**, and click **Save**.\n\n-   Optional:\n\n    -   Add a **Sale Price** (this will appear crossed out next to the new price).\n\n    -   Hide the price and show a custom label (e.g., “Price on Request”).\n\n-   Click **“Sync Price Changes”** to apply changes instantly.\n\n\n---\n\n### **6\\. Assign to a Category**\n\n-   Scroll to **Categories Containing This Product**.\n\n-   Click **New**, select the **product**, and assign it to a **category** (e.g., *Products \u0026 Services*).\n\n-   (Optional) Set a **Position** to reorder it in the category list.\n\n-   Make sure it's **Active**, then click **Save**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **7\\. Upload Product Media**\n\n-   Click the **Content** tab on the product record.\n\n-   Under **Media Upload**, click **“Click to Upload”**.\n\n    -   Enter a name for the media.\n\n    -   Choose **File Type**: Image.\n\n    -   Upload from your **computer** or import via a **URL**.\n\n-   Click **Save** to attach the image to the product.\n\n\n---\n\n### **8\\. Final Review \u0026 Go Live**\n\n-   Refresh the product record page.\n\n-   Confirm that all indicators are **green** in the status panel:\n\n    -   ✅ Eye = visible on site.\n\n    -   ✅ Cart = can be purchased.\n\n-   Visit your storefront to confirm:\n\n    -   Product is listed.\n\n    -   Price and description are visible.\n\n    -   Image is correctly displayed.\n\n    -   \"Add to Cart\" button is active.\n\n\n---"}
