# ▶️ Add search keywords

**Step 1: Go to Products**

-   Log in to the backend of StoreConnect.

-   Navigate to your **Products list view**.

**Step 2: Locate the Product**

-   Find the product you want to add keywords for.

**Step 3: Find the “Search Keywords” Field**

-   Look for the field called **Search Keywords**.

-   If you don’t see it, add the field to your page layout.

**Step 4: Add Keywords**

-   Edit the product record.

-   In the **Search Keywords** field, enter any alternate words customers might use.

-   Put each keyword on a **new line**.

-   Keywords are **not case-sensitive**.

**Step 5: Save & Update**

-   Save the record.

-   Wait a little while for the changes to sync with your website.

**Step 6: Test the Search**

-   Go to your store’s search bar.

-   Try searching with the new keyword(s) to confirm the product shows up.

**Step 7: Apply to Other Items**

-   Remember, you can add keywords to **Products, Articles, and Pages** in the same way.
