Configure Reward Points in the Store Record**\n\n-   In **Salesforce**, open the **StoreConnect app**.\n\n-   Go to:\n\n    -   **StoreConnect Navigation** → **Configuration** → **Stores** → **Stores List View**.\n\n-   Open your **Store Record**.\n\n-   Under the **Products** tab (or **Rewards** tab):\n\n    -   **Activate Points at Order Status**:\n\n        -   Enter the **API name** of the Order Status where points should be allocated.\n\n        -   Example: use `activated` (do not allocate points at Draft status).\n\n    -   **Points Expiry**:\n\n        -   Set **Points Expiry Length** → e.g. `12`.\n\n        -   Set **Points Expiry Unit** → e.g. `Month` (points will expire after 12 months).\n\n-   Click **Save**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **2\\. Set Default Earn Rate in Price Book**\n\n-   Open your relevant **Price Book**.\n\n-   Locate the field **Default Earn Rate**.\n\n    -   This controls how many points are earned per unit of currency spent.\n\n    -   Example: enter `1`0 (10 points per dollar).\n\n-   Click **Save**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **3\\. Configure Points for Individual Products**\n\n-   Open your **Price Book Entry** for each product where you want to enable points accumulation.\n\n-   For each product:\n\n    -   Edit the record.\n\n    -   Under the **Points** section:\n\n        -   Check **Can Earn Points**.\n\n        -   Set **Points Earned**:\n\n            -   You can enter a fixed number of points (overrides default earn rate).\n\n            -   Example: `250 points` for *Steve Plushy*.\n\n        -   Optionally, set **Bonus Points** for promotions.\n\n-   Click **Save**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **4\\. Sync Price Changes**\n\n-   After updating the **Price Book Entry**:\n\n    -   Go to the **Product Record**.\n\n    -   Click **Sync Price Changes**.\n\n    -   This ensures your changes are reflected in the store.\n\n\n---\n\n### **5\\. Test the Earning Process**\n\n-   On your **Store website**, navigate to the product page.\n\n-   You should see a message (e.g. *Earn 250 Points for this purchase*).\n\n-   Proceed to:\n\n    -   **Buy Now** → **Checkout** → **Make Payment**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **6\\. Verify Points on the Order**\n\n-   In Salesforce:\n\n    -   Go to **Orders** → open the relevant order.\n\n    -   Change the **Order Status** to `Activated`.\n\n-   Under the **Rewards** tab in the Order:\n\n    -   Verify that the correct number of **points earned** is recorded (e.g. `250 Points`).\n\n\n---\n\n### **7\\. Verify Points on the Customer Account**\n\n-   Open the **Account Record** for the customer.\n\n-   Under **Account Points Balance**:\n\n    -   Verify the customer’s **total points balance** (should reflect the new points).\n\n-   Under the **Related** tab → **Account Points**:\n\n    -   A new record should appear showing the **points earned** and **activated**.\n\n\n---"}
