Overview: What Are Bookable Products?**\n\nBookable products are items or services that customers **schedule** for a specific time slot — such as appointments, classes, or events.\n\nTo set one up in StoreConnect, you'll need to complete **three main steps**:\n\n1.  Define the **session details** (duration, attendees, etc.).\n\n2.  Create a **bookable location** (virtual or physical).\n\n3.  Set an **availability schedule** (when bookings can occur).\n\n\n---\n\n### **2\\. Create the Bookable Product**\n\n-   Go to the **StoreConnect App** in Salesforce.\n\n-   Open **StoreConnect Navigation \u003e Products \u003e All Products**.\n\n-   Click **New** and enter:\n\n    -   **Name** (e.g., *Steve’s Mentoring*)\n\n    -   **Active**: Checked\n\n    -   **Virtual Product**: Checked\n\n    -   **Available On Date**: Set to a past date for immediate availability\n\n\n#### Under **Booking Information**:\n\n-   **Booking Duration**: e.g., *30 minutes*\n\n-   **Start Buffer**: e.g., *10 minutes*\n\n-   **End Buffer**: e.g., *5 minutes*\n\n-   **Require Attendee Details**: Optional (collect name/email/phone)\n\n-   **Max Attendees per Booking**: e.g., *10*\n\n-   **Summary**: Event description\n\n-   Click **Save**\n\n\n#### Set Price \u0026 Category:\n\n-   Under **Price Books**, add a price (e.g., *$85*) and **Save**.\n\n-   Click **Sync Price Changes**.\n\n-   Assign to a **Product Category**.\n\n-   Add a **Product Image** under **Media Used by This Product**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **3\\. Create a Bookable Location**\n\n-   Scroll down to **Product Bookable Locations** and click **New**.\n\n-   Then click **New Bookable Location** and enter:\n\n    -   **Name**: e.g., *Virtual, Billows Hotel, Hyde Park*\n\n    -   **Store**: Assign to your current store\n\n    -   **Display Name**: e.g., *Online Meeting*\n\n    -   **Time Zone**: Choose appropriate one (e.g., *Australia/Sydney*)\n\n    -   **Type**: Select *Virtual* or *Physical*\n\n    -   **Active**: Checked\n\n    -   **Max Bookings** (Optional): Limit tickets sold for that session\n\n    -   **Min Bookings** (Optional): Set minimum threshold to run session\n\n-   Click **Save**\n\n\n---\n\n### **4\\. Set Availability Schedule**\n\nIn the **Bookable Location record**:\n\n#### Create a Regular Availability:\n\n-   Go to **Availabilities** \u003e **New**\n\n-   Enter:\n\n    -   **Name**: e.g., *Weekday Schedule*\n\n    -   **Start Date**: Set to past date (or future if launching later)\n\n    -   **End Date**: Optional (leave blank for ongoing)\n\n    -   **Days of Week**: e.g., *Monday to Friday*\n\n    -   **Start Time**: e.g., *10:00 AM*\n\n    -   **End Time**: e.g., *5:00 PM*\n\n    -   **Unavailability**: Leave unchecked\n\n-   Click **Save**\n\n\n#### Create a Break (e.g., Lunch Hour):\n\n-   Repeat steps above but:\n\n    -   **Name**: e.g., *Steve's Lunch Hour*\n\n    -   **Time**: *12:00 PM to 1:00 PM*\n\n    -   **Unavailability**: **Check this box**\n\n-   Click **Save**\n\n\n#### Create a One-Off Special Event:\n\n-   Go to **Bookable Events** \u003e **New**\n\n-   Enter:\n\n    -   **Name**: e.g., *Steve’s Special Mentoring*\n\n    -   **Start and End Date**: e.g., *Saturday, 30th*\n\n    -   **Time**: *1:00 PM to 4:00 PM*\n\n-   Click **Save**\n\n\n---\n\n### **5\\. Set Booking Expiry Duration (Optional)**\n\n-   Go to **StoreConnect Navigation \u003e Configuration \u003e Stores \u003e All Stores**\n\n-   Open your store record.\n\n-   Under the **Products tab**, locate **Booking Settings**.\n\n-   Set **Booking Hold Duration** (e.g., *10 minutes*) and **Save**.\n\n\n---\n\n### **6\\. Test the Booking Experience**\n\n-   Go to the **live product page**:\n\n    -   Select **Location** (e.g., *Online Meeting*)\n\n    -   Choose a **date** (blue dots indicate availability)\n\n    -   Pick a **time slot**\n\n    -   Proceed to **checkout** and **complete payment**\n\n\n---\n\n### **7\\. Verify the Booking in Salesforce**\n\n-   Use the **Order Reference Number** to search the order.\n\n-   In the **Order Record**, you'll see:\n\n    -   Product and quantity\n\n    -   Payment details\n\n    -   **Booking record** showing session details and scheduling\n\n    -   Related customer info and emails sent"}
