Enable Restricted Fields on Product Price Book Entry**\n\n1.  Go to **Products List View** and select your product.\n\n2.  Open the **Standard Price Book Entry** for this product.\n\n3.  Click **Setup Cog** → **Edit Page**.\n\n4.  Drag a **New Field Section** onto the page, name it *Restricted*.\n\n5.  Add these fields to the section:\n\n    -   **Restricted** (checkbox)\n\n    -   **Restricted Text**\n\n    -   **Display if Restricted** (checkbox)\n\n6.  Save and refresh the page.\n\n\n---\n\n### **2\\. Configure the Product as Restricted**\n\n1.  On the **Price Book Entry** page:\n\n    -   Check **Restricted** to make the product restricted.\n\n    -   Optionally, enter a **Restricted Text** (e.g. “Restricted product”).\n\n    -   Use **Display if Restricted** to control visibility:\n\n        -   Checked → product will show with restricted message.\n\n        -   Unchecked → product will not be visible to non-approved customers.\n\n2.  Click **Save**.\n\n3.  On the **Product Record**, click **Sync Recent Price Changes**.\n\n4.  Refresh your store page:\n\n    -   If restricted \u0026 not approved → product shows restricted message or is hidden.\n\n\n---\n\n### **3\\. Approve Specific Customers to Purchase Restricted Products**\n\n1.  Go to **Accounts List View** and select the customer account.\n\n2.  Go to **Additional Relationships** → **Permitted Restricted Products**.\n\n3.  Click **New** and configure:\n\n    -   **Account** → select customer.\n\n    -   **Store** → select store.\n\n    -   **Product** → select the restricted product.\n\n    -   **Start Date / End Date** → approval period.\n\n    -   **Approved Quantity** → set limit, or check **Unlimited**.\n\n4.  Save.\n\n\n---\n\n### **4\\. Customer Purchase Experience**\n\n1.  Log in as the approved customer account.\n\n2.  Go to **Products Page**.\n\n3.  The restricted product will now:\n\n    -   Be visible.\n\n    -   Show restricted message \u0026 approved purchase quantity.\n\n    -   Allow **Add to Cart**.\n\n4.  Customer can proceed to checkout and purchase within approved quantity.\n\n\n---\n\n### **6\\. Track and Manage Purchases**\n\n1.  In **Permitted Restricted Products**, check **Purchased Quantity** field:\n\n    -   Tracks how many units have been bought.\n\n    -   When limit is reached, product becomes restricted again.\n\n2.  To **refund / reverse purchase**:\n\n    -   Edit the record.\n\n    -   Check **Void** and save → resets purchased quantity accordingly."}
