Open the Store record for your store\n2.  Find the Store Variables related list\n3.  Create a new Store Variable record by clicking ‘New’\n    1.  Give it a name. Something like `Enable Shipping Notes`\n    2.  Key = `use_shipping_notes`\n    3.  Value = `true`\n    4.  Click ‘Save’\n\nShipping Notes will now show up on the checkout for the customer to use when selecting their delivery option.
