You do not need to buy anything to start.\n- **Ready to install.** Prepare your Salesforce org, then install the package.\n\nA Salesforce org is required either way. StoreConnect uses Salesforce as its database with live two-way sync, so there is no separate API integration to maintain.\n\n## Evaluate StoreConnect\n\n### Study at the StoreConnect Academy\n\nNothing prepares you for working in Salesforce and StoreConnect like our [Academy training courses](https://storeconnect.academy/). Start with Fundamentals and work through Admin training, up to Theme Development.\n\n### Explore a trial org (optional)\n\nTo evaluate StoreConnect against your own data without committing to an installation, see [explore StoreConnect in a Salesforce trial org](install-storeconnect-to-a-salesforce-trial-org). You are prompted to sign up for a Salesforce org if you do not have one.\n\n## Install StoreConnect\n\n### Before you begin\n\nConfirm all of the following before you start the installation:\n\n- You have Salesforce administrator permissions to change org settings and install managed packages.\n- Your Salesforce org meets the edition, object, and user requirements. See the [Salesforce org compatibility guide](storeconnect-compatibility-guide).\n- **Lightning Web Security** is enabled in your org. StoreConnect uses dynamic imports in its Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce only allows these when Lightning Web Security is active. Installation fails without it. See [enable Lightning Web Security](enable-lightning-web-security).\n\n### Install the package\n\nUse the [quick start](quick-start) to install StoreConnect, then follow the [getting started checklist](get-started-with-storeconnect) to complete the initial setup. You get a free trial period to get comfortable with StoreConnect before you are billed.\n\n:::tip\nSubscribe to service status updates at [status.storeconnect.com](https://status.storeconnect.com) so you hear about incidents and scheduled maintenance before they affect your store.\n:::"}
