You can have multiple price books, depending on your client-base. For instance, you could have: 1) a wholesale, 2) retail and 3) online price books. See [Product pricing](product-pricing) or check out the Salesforce Trailhead to [learn more about creating and managing Price Books](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/manage-products-prices-quotes-orders/create-custom-price-books).\n\nWhen you put this together with StoreConnect’s ability to create multiple stores within the one **Salesforce Org**, using Price Books means no matter how many stores you create, you will always be able to create a suitable pricing structure for your store.\n\nA price book does not have to apply to your whole store. You can assign one to an individual customer so they buy at their own negotiated rates, or to a membership tier so every member gets the same pricing. See [Apply special pricing for account customers](account-pricing) and [Memberships](memberships).\n\n## Use the StoreConnect price book page layout (required)\n\nWhen you first create your store in StoreConnect, update the default Salesforce Price Book Page Layout, and select the StoreConnect Price Book Page Layout instead. This gives you additional functions for managing price books and pricing.\n\n1. Open any Price Book.\n2. Go to the Setup menu and select **Edit Object**.\n\n ![Edit Object in Salesforce](https://res.cloudinary.com/hzkr6fi81/image/upload/v1770335318/knowledge/products-pricing/EditObjectSetupMenu_l1phyk.png) \n3. Select **Page Layout** in the side menu.\n4. Select **Page Layout Assignment** in the top right.\n5. Select **Edit Assignment**. \n6. Click, hold, and drag to select all the Profiles in the list.\n7. Select **SC Page Layout** in the dropdown menu and hit **Save**.
