For full details on setting up products, see [Create products in StoreConnect](https://support.getstoreconnect.com/article/How-to-Add-Products-in-StoreConnect \"Create products\").\n\n## Minimum product requirements checklist\n\nFollow this checklist to ensure product purchasability and troubleshoot product issues.\n\nFor a product to show on the site\n\n-   Must be active\n-   Must belong to a product category\n-   Available date must be in the past\n\nFor a product to be searchable\n\n-   Must be a master product or variant of a master\n-   Must have an active price book entry\n-   Match the store's currency\n\nFor a product to be purchased\n\n-   Inventory control options must be set\n-   At least one payment provider must be configured\n\n## Visibility of discontinued products\n\nWhen the **Discontinued On** date of a product is in the past, the product is still visible in the store but it cannot be purchased.\n\nTo fully remove a discontinued product from the store, uncheck the Active field on the product. This will remove it from the site."}
