There is no scheduling and no partial disable: the setting applies to the whole store, not to individual pages. Create your maintenance **Content Block** first, so visitors see your message rather than an unexplained page.\n\n## Create the maintenance message\n\nCreate a **Content Block** for the message. For the full steps, see [creating content blocks](how-to-create-content-blocks).\n\n1.  Set the **Content Template** to `Text`.\n2. Customers cannot browse or check out while the store is disabled.\n:::\n\n1.  Open the **Store** record you want to take offline.\n2.  Set the **Disabled content block** field to the **Content Block** you created.\n3.  Select the **Disable the store** checkbox.\n4.  Click **Save**.\n5.  Visit your store URL and confirm the maintenance message appears in place of the storefront.\n\n## Bring the store back online\n\n1.  Open the **Store** record.\n2.  Clear the **Disable the store** checkbox and click **Save**.\n3.  Visit your store URL and confirm the storefront loads normally."}
