# Subscription Change Object Reference

## Overview

Records each subscription plan change (upgrade or downgrade) for audit trail and reporting. Tracks old/new product, pricing, proration, and the mode used.

## Fields

| Field Label | API Name | Type | Required | Description |
|-------------|----------|------|----------|-------------|
| Changed At | `s_c__Changed_At__c` | DateTime | No | When the customer initiated the plan change. For upgrades this equals Effective_Date. For downgrades this is when they requested it, while Effective_Date is when it takes effect (next renewal). |
| Direction | `s_c__Direction__c` | Picklist | No | Whether this was an initial signup, upgrade, or downgrade. |
| Effective Date | `s_c__Effective_Date__c` | DateTime | No | When the plan change took effect. |
| New Price | `s_c__New_Price__c` | Currency(18,2) | No | The period price after the plan change. |
| New Product | `s_c__New_Product_Id__c` | Lookup ([Product2](product2-object-reference)) | No | The product after the plan change. |
| Old Price | `s_c__Old_Price__c` | Currency(18,2) | No | The period price before the plan change. |
| Old Product | `s_c__Old_Product_Id__c` | Lookup ([Product2](product2-object-reference)) | No | The product before the plan change. |
| Order | `s_c__Order_Id__c` | Lookup ([Order](order-object-reference)) | No | The pro-rata charge order (upgrades) or audit order (downgrades). |
| Plan Change Mode | `s_c__Plan_Change_Mode__c` | Picklist | No | The proration mode used: prorate_immediately, prorate_on_renewal, or no_proration. |
| Proration Amount | `s_c__Proration_Amount__c` | Currency(18,2) | No | The prorated amount charged for this plan change. 0 for downgrades or no_proration mode. |
| Subscription | `s_c__Subscription_Id__c` | Lookup ([s_c__Subscription__c](subscription-object-reference)) | No | The subscription that was changed. |
