Redirect old site pages as part of store launch
- Launch your StoreConnect site on another domain or subdomain.
- Publish the StoreConnect site’s google-merchant-feed and Facebook Catalog Feed. Any marketing should now point to the StoreConnect site.
- Page by page configure your old pages to point to the equivalent StoreConnect page with a 301 redirect per page. This could include any pages, articles, article categories, products or product categories. It may also include an old login page or profile page.
These 301’s need to be set up within your existing site. The platform your existing site is on should have a way of doing this.
