StoreConnect stores every customer, order, and transaction as native Salesforce objects. There is no separate database, no data warehouse, and no export required to run reports. Your entire commerce operation is available in Salesforce — connected to your CRM, accessible to your team, and reportable with standard Salesforce tools.
Contact and account management
Every customer who creates an account or places an order is stored as a Salesforce Contact, linked to an Account. This means your commerce data and your CRM data are the same data.
- Customer profiles — Contact records include purchase history, subscription status, loyalty balance, and case history in one place
- Account-level relationships — B2B customers are linked to Salesforce Accounts, enabling account-level pricing, credit limits, and purchase order requirements
- Price books per account — assign specific price books to Accounts to give B2B customers their negotiated pricing automatically at checkout
- Credit limits — set credit limits on Accounts for pay-by-account purchasing; StoreConnect enforces the limit at checkout
- Purchase order requirements — require a PO number from specific accounts before an order can be placed
See contact-and-account-management-features.
Accounts management and ERP integration
StoreConnect connects to your accounting and ERP systems, keeping financial records in sync with your Salesforce data.
- Accounting integrations — connect to Xero, MYOB, and other accounting platforms to sync invoices, payments, and customer records
- ERP integration — connect to ERP systems for inventory sync, order handoff, and product data management
- Tax management — configure tax rates by zone, with support for complex tax scenarios; Avalara integration available for automated tax calculation
- Tax-exempt accounts — mark specific Accounts as tax-exempt; exemption is applied automatically at checkout
See accounts-management-features.
Reporting
StoreConnect reports are built on standard Salesforce reports and dashboards — no separate analytics tool required.
- UTM attribution — every order captures the UTM source, medium, campaign, content, and term from the inbound link; attribution is available in any Salesforce report
- Funnel analysis — track the customer journey from first visit through to purchase, including abandoned cart data
- Abandoned carts — customers who abandon their cart are recorded in Salesforce; trigger recovery workflows with Salesforce flows or Marketing Cloud
- Revenue reporting — build custom Salesforce reports on orders, products, stores, promotions, and payment methods
- Subscription metrics — active subscribers, renewal rates, churn, and lifetime value available in Salesforce reports
See reporting-features.
CRM Analytics and Agentforce
StoreConnect data is available to Salesforce CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM) for advanced analytics, AI-powered insights, and custom dashboards. Agentforce can surface store and customer data to service agents or AI bots in the context of a customer interaction.
