Sandbox license costs

Every StoreConnect install includes a free 90-day StoreConnect sandbox store in any Developer, Partial Copy, or Full Copy Salesforce sandbox. No license key is needed to start one, and the setup wizard tells you the sandbox is free for 90 days. To provision one, see get a StoreConnect sandbox.

To keep a sandbox store running for longer than 90 days, purchase a sandbox license matched to your plan. It is listed as the Persistent Sandbox License add-on on the StoreConnect pricing page and is available on the Boutique, Emporium, and Flagship plans. It is a StoreConnect license for the sandbox web app. It is separate from your Salesforce sandbox and from your production StoreConnect license.

To buy one, contact your account manager, email sales@storeconnect.com, or open a case with StoreConnect support. The free trial cannot be extended indefinitely, so plan the purchase before the 90 days run out if you need the sandbox to stay up.

Apply a sandbox license key

A sandbox license comes with an installation key. Apply it in the sandbox org, not in production:

1. Open the StoreConnect Console in the sandbox org.
2. In the header, select License.
3. Select Verify subscription and enter the key. If a key has already been applied to this sandbox, select Update key instead.

The License popover now shows the sandbox plan name and its expiry date.

Keep the license when you refresh the sandbox

A refresh gives the sandbox a new Org ID, and the license stays attached to the old one. Send the new Org ID to StoreConnect support before you run Get sandbox in the refreshed sandbox, so the license is moved across first.
