▶️ Set up product comparisons
On this page
Step 1: Go to Themes

In the StoreConnect console or navigation, search for Themes.

Open All Themes.

Select the theme currently applied to your store.
Step 2: Add a New Theme Variable

Inside the theme, go to Theme Variables.

Click New to create a variable.
Step 3: Configure the Variable

Set the Name to:
product comparison -
Set the Key to:
products.comparisons -
Set the Value to:
true -
Save the variable.
Step 4: Enable Product Comparison

Wait a moment for changes to apply.

Go back to your store page and refresh.

You should now see an “Add to Compare” option under each product.
Step 5: Compare Products

Select two or more products.
-
Click Compare Products.

All product traits will display side by side for easy comparison.
Step 6: (Optional) Set Up Traits

To make comparisons more useful, ensure you’ve set up Traits for your products.
