Prepare to get started
On this page
How you get started with StoreConnect depends on where you are in the purchase and setup process.
Evaluate StoreConnect
Study at the StoreConnect Academy
Nothing prepares you for working in Salesforce and StoreConnect like our Academy training courses. Start with Fundamentals and work through Admin training, up to Theme Development.
Explore the sandbox (optional)
If you want to evaluate StoreConnect without installing, see set up StoreConnect in a Salesforce sandbox environment. You’ll be prompted to sign up for a Salesforce org if you don’t have one.
Install StoreConnect
Step 1: Prepare your current Salesforce org (only if you have one)
Before installing, enable Lightning Web Security (LWS) in your Salesforce org. StoreConnect uses dynamic imports in its Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce requires LWS to be active for these to work. Installation will fail without it.
Make sure you have the right Admin permissions to enable LWS and install packages for your Salesforce org.
Step 2: Install StoreConnect
Once you are ready to install StoreConnect, use the Quick Start to install and then follow the getting started checklist to complete the initial setup.
Initially, you get a free trial period to get comfortable with StoreConnect.
