Prepare to get started

Use this topic to work out what you need to do next, whether you are still evaluating StoreConnect or ready to install it.

Choose your path:

• Still evaluating. Take the training courses and explore StoreConnect in a Salesforce trial org first. You do not need to buy anything to start.
• Ready to install. Prepare your Salesforce org, then install the package.

A Salesforce org is required either way. StoreConnect uses Salesforce as its database with live two-way sync, so there is no separate API integration to maintain.

Explore a trial org (optional)

To evaluate StoreConnect against your own data without committing to an installation, see explore StoreConnect in a Salesforce trial org. You are prompted to sign up for a Salesforce org if you do not have one.

Install StoreConnect

Before you begin

Confirm all of the following before you start the installation:

• You have Salesforce administrator permissions to change org settings and install managed packages.
• Your Salesforce org meets the edition, object, and user requirements. See the Salesforce org compatibility guide.
• Lightning Web Security is enabled in your org. StoreConnect uses dynamic imports in its Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce only allows these when Lightning Web Security is active. Installation fails without it. See enable Lightning Web Security.

Install the package

Use the quick start to install StoreConnect, then follow the getting started checklist to complete the initial setup. You get a free trial period to get comfortable with StoreConnect before you are billed.
