Special order holds and pickups

Pickups may also include items placed on hold, or items ordered and paid for online, and requested for collection in a store — commonly known as Buy Online, Pickup In Store (BOPIS) or click and collect. A special order that a customer reserves online without paying, then pays for and collects at the “Take payment” step below, is commonly known as Reserve Online, Pickup In Store (ROPIS). Process a pickup

1. In your POS terminal, open the Pickup list in the sidebar menu. The icon is a tray.
2. Search, filter, or sort the pickup list to locate the order.
3. You can filter by order Status or Type, to refine the list.
4. Open the order and (depending on the status) complete the transaction as required:
   1. Take payment.
   2. Provide the goods.
   3. Issue a receipt.
