Overview

This section documents every Salesforce object StoreConnect uses. Each article lists the object’s fields, the records it points at, the records that point back at it under Referenced by, and the Liquid object that renders it under On the storefront.

Start here if you are new to the data model:

• How the StoreConnect data model fits together — the naming conventions, which objects are hubs, and how to find your way from one object to another
• Junction objects — how StoreConnect connects two records that have a many-to-many relationship, and why a relationship you expect on an object is often one step away
• How stores, themes, and design elements relate — which records control the storefront’s appearance

Objects by functional area

Six areas cover most of the schema. Each names the objects in it, explains the relationships that matter, and points to the neighboring areas it connects to.

• Catalog objects — products, categories, variants, bundles, traits, media, and pricing
• Order and checkout objects — carts, orders, payments, subscriptions, vouchers, promotions, and tax
• Store design objects — stores, themes, pages, content blocks, and menus
• Fulfillment and inventory objects — shipments, stock levels and locations, transfers, shipping rates, and zones
• POS objects — outlets, registers, shifts, and POS layouts and actions
• Customer and account objects — accounts, contacts, memberships, credit, points, and approvals
