Installation and basic setup

You need to be a Salesforce Admin to do most steps. You may need to do some or all, depending on where you are starting.

1: Before you install

Check compatibility and complete all prerequisites.

• [ ] Check your Salesforce org compatibility – Verify your org meets the edition, object, and API requirements
• [ ] Review prerequisites to getting started – Understand what’s required before installation
• [ ] Check Lightning Web Security is enabled – Required before installation and only applies to older Salesfroce orgs.

2: Install and set up StoreConnect

• [ ] Install and set up StoreConnect – Install the managed package and follow the basic setup steps
• [ ] Create a StoreConnect sync user – Set up the sync user in Salesforce
• [ ] Invite your team – Add team members and assign permission sets
• [ ] Learn about store themes - Accept the default them and explore theme customization
• [ ] Assign page layouts – Configure page layouts for StoreConnect objects

3: Salesforce configuration

Configure your Salesforce org to work with StoreConnect.
