StoreConnect partner program

1. General

This document outlines the terms and conditions under which StoreConnect authorises Partner to enrol in the StoreConnect Partner Program. Participation is subject to the Partner meeting the participation requirements and complying with its obligations outlined in this document.

Note: the Partner Program does not provide distribution rights to the Partner for the Platform, nor does it contemplate any kind of reseller relationship between StoreConnect and Partner. All such distribution and reseller arrangements are governed by separate StoreConnect agreements and application processes if entered into by the parties.

2. Participation requirements

To participate in the Partner Program, Partner must adhere to the following participation requirements:

  • Partner must maintain their status as active Salesforce Partner and comply with all relevant participation requirements.

  • Partner is responsible for providing Services to End-clients, each of whom must have a valid subscription and license for the Platform.

  • Partner must either ensure that they remain an active Salesforce Consulting Partner in good standing with Salesforce, in compliance with the Salesforce partner agreement, or works in conjunction with a StoreConnect partner who is a Salesforce Consulting Partner.

  • Partner’s collection, holding, storing, disclosure, processing, and handling of End-client Data, including any personally identifiable information, must be governed by a current and applicable privacy policy. Partner must provide StoreConnect with a copy of its Privacy Policy and shall promptly notify StoreConnect in writing prior to making any update to Partner’s Privacy Policy.

3. Partner program benefits

Upon enrolling in the Partner Program, Partner will receive:

  • the right to display approved StoreConnect Partner Program logos on their website based on their attained Partner Status,

  • access to the StoreConnect Partner Portal,

  • access to the StoreConnect Support Centre at support.getstoreconnect.com,

  • Partner support via support@getstoreconnect.com,

  • access to the StoreConnect certification program,

  • documentation via help.getstoreconnect.com,

  • incoming lead referrals at the discretion of StoreConnect,

  • a feature on the StoreConnect approved Partner page on getstoreconnect.com,

  • additional benefits as published from time to time via the StoreConnect Partner Portal.

As a StoreConnect partner we want to ensure you have all the tools and support necessary to leverage our product. As a partner you are entitled to the following methods of hosting StoreConnect:

  1. Partner StoreConnect Pop-up Store

A StoreConnect partner is entitled to a free StoreConnect Pop-up store.

To qualify for the Partner Pop-up Store, the partner must have created a StoreConnect focused page on their website that includes appropriate links to GetStoreConnect.com.

Upon approval from the StoreConnect Partner Manager, they will receive one StoreConnect Production Licence key for their own use.

This license can only be used by the partner and not transferred, gifted or used by any other entity or as a way to avoid paying subscription fees to StoreConnect.

Continued access to this free production license will require reasonable updates to the landing page from time to time as directed by the Partner Manager.

  1. Perpetual Demo Store

A longer term store for you to show off your skills to prospects and clients. Build a demo store with custom workflows to suit specific industries to use when demoing to clients. This can be set on an annual renewal.

Send your licence details to the StoreConnect Alliance Manager to have this applied. The demo store will remain in test mode.

  1. Temporary Demo Store

A partner can launch a 30-day trial demo store as needed by downloading the package from the AppExchange. This could be for doing the StoreConnect Academy certification, or building a demo for a customer.

For demo stores required past the 30-day free trial version from the AppExchange, send the details to the StoreConnect Alliance Manager who can have this extended via Support.

4. Training and certification

StoreConnect offers a certification program through StoreConnect Academy designed to train Partner’s team and their clients on how to use, install and configure the Platform.

Participation and achievement of certifications by the Partner’s team along with successful projects installing and maintaining StoreConnect is key to the Partner’s advancement through the Partner Tiers.

Partner may receive access to pre-release updates of the Platform before making them generally available. Such pre-release updates are StoreConnect’s Confidential Information.

5. Technical support

Partner will receive technical support in connection with the Platform, depending upon which Partner tier they have attained.

6. Partner program tiers

Enrolment in the StoreConnect Partner Program is free. As Partner meets the minimum requirements for each partner status tier, they will automatically progress to the next partner status. The Partner Program tier minimum requirements and corresponding benefits may be modified on written notice by StoreConnect from time to time at the sole discretion StoreConnect as new StoreConnect capabilities and training is launched.

The requirements for each tier are published for Partners to access via the StoreConnect Partner Portal. Should newly published training or requirements be required for a Partner to maintain a previously attained tier, Partner will have 12 months to complete the training or requirements to retain that tier.

7. Platform intellectual property ownership

Nothing in this document transfers or assigns to Partner any of StoreConnect’s Intellectual Property Rights in the Platform, StoreConnect Materials or other technology, trademarks, products or services.

8. Marketing benefits

StoreConnect will feature Partner on the main StoreConnect website including links to the Partner’s main site or the Partner’s StoreConnect landing page according to the Partner’s tier.

  • Partner will have access to StoreConnect’s branding materials, including logo and references subject to any branding and logo guidelines published via the StoreConnect Partner Portal specified by StoreConnect from time to time.

  • StoreConnect may feature the Partner in any case study done for a StoreConnect customer that utilised the Partner’s services.

  • StoreConnect may assist in funding promotional programs at StoreConnect’s discretion and according to the Partner’s Partner Program tier. This may include joint promotional activities such as webinars, joint case studies, and digital targeted marketing.

9. Ongoing program benefits

The Partner Program Benefits provided by StoreConnect to the Partner are published within the StoreConnect Partner Portal and are kept up to date by StoreConnect as the Platform evolves. Partner is encouraged to regularly check for updates.
