StoreConnect fees and billing structure

Per the StoreConnect Terms and Conditions, StoreConnect bill customers in two parts: a Subscription Fee and a Shared Success fee.

  • Subscription billing is either monthly or annually in advance, depending on your selected plan. These fees can be paid via credit card or invoice for larger plans.
  • The Shared Success fee is a percentage of your total monthly order value, which is billed in arrears and converted to USD using current exchange rates.

Subscription billing

You pay fees for your selected subscription monthly in advance or annually in advance. Payment options include credit card or invoice, depending on the agreed billing arrangement. All charges appear in USD. On request, we can convert your bill to a different currency using the daily rate at https://openexchangerates.org/.

Shared success fees

Shared Success is billed in USD as a percentage of your total order value each month in arrears as defined in the StoreConnect Terms and Conditions.

If your store does not use USD, we convert the shared success fee into USD using https://openexchangerates.org/ at the time of the sale (updated hourly). So if you are selling in Australia (Australian Dollars), England (English Pounds) and France (Euro) as well as the USA (US Dollars), each Order total value will be sent to StoreConnect as it’s own currency, and then converted to USD as it is received.

This means you can have stores in any currency we support.

When do we charge the shared success fee?

On the 3rd of each month, the total value of the previous month’s orders is calculated as a total in USD and then billed via the agreed payment method or against a prepaid Shared Success credit. If you are being billed in a currency other than USD, then this reverse conversion takes place with the exchange rate as at the 3rd of the month.

We only use anonymous data

To calculate shared success fees, we only capture the order number, value, time, store, city and country the order came from. We do not capture personal information, products, tax, or shipping information. Just the total spend.
