StoreConnect handles payment processing, recurring billing, and order management natively within Salesforce. Every transaction is recorded as a Salesforce Order object — visible to your entire team in real time, reportable without exports, and connected to the customer's full history.
Payment providers
StoreConnect integrates with more than 20 payment providers, giving you the flexibility to use your preferred gateway or support regional payment methods.
Supported providers include Stripe, PayPal, Square, Adyen, ACI, PayWay, Windcave, eWay, and others. Multiple payment providers can be active simultaneously — for example, different providers per store or per region.
- Standard card payments — credit and debit card processing through your chosen gateway
- Digital wallets — Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other wallet payments where supported by the provider
- Buy now, pay later — supported through compatible providers
- Pay by account — B2B customers can purchase against a Salesforce Account balance with configurable credit limits
- Payment preauthorisation — capture authorisation at checkout and complete the charge at fulfillment
For the full provider list and configuration details, see payments-and-payment-providers-features.
Subscriptions
StoreConnect supports automated recurring billing for subscription products, managed entirely within Salesforce.
- Evergreen subscriptions — ongoing billing on a defined cycle (weekly, monthly, annually) until the customer cancels
- Fixed-term subscriptions — billing for a set number of periods, with optional auto-renewal
- Automated billing — renewal charges are processed automatically; failed payments trigger configurable retry logic
- Customer self-management — subscribers can update their payment method, pause, or cancel from their account dashboard
- Subscription product variants — different billing cycles (monthly vs annual) can be offered as variants of the same product
For full details, see subscription-features.
Vouchers and account credits
- Gift vouchers — generate and sell voucher codes redeemable at checkout; vouchers can be monetary or percentage-based
- Account credits — assign credit to a customer account with a running balance; customers can apply credits at checkout alongside other payment methods
- Partial redemption — vouchers and credits can be applied as part payment, with the remainder charged to another method
See vouchers-and-account-credits-features.
Donations
StoreConnect supports donation collection for nonprofits and fundraising organizations, managed within the same Salesforce org as your commerce operations.
- One-time and recurring donations — donors can give once or set up an ongoing donation on a defined cycle
- Child and initiative-based sponsorships — structured sponsorship programs with per-child or per-initiative tracking in Salesforce
- Peer-to-peer fundraising — supporters can run their own fundraising pages connected to your campaign
- Combined checkout — donors can combine a donation with merchandise or membership in a single transaction
See donations-features for full details, and combined-checkout-function for the combined checkout capability.
Orders
All orders — online, POS, subscription renewals, and phone orders — are stored as Salesforce Order records.
- Orders are visible immediately across your Salesforce team without any export or sync
- Order history is available in the customer account dashboard
- Orders connect to inventory, fulfillment, and shipping workflows natively
- Custom order statuses and workflows can be built using Salesforce flows
