Collect an item serial number at POS

You need to set the requirement at the product level, for each product you want to track.

Require a serial number for a product at POS

1. Open the product in Salesforce.
2. Select Edit.
3. Scroll to the Stock Information section and switch on the Has Serial Number option.
4. Select Save. A serial number will now need to be entered for the product at the point of purchase.
5. Repeat for each product you want to be tracked by serial number.
