Package v21.5 to v21.7 - 24 July 2026

These package releases add Console Trait Management and a wider range of accepted media file types. They also remove two unused subscription pricing fields from Price Book Entry and withdraw two image formats from the media upload picker, both of which need checking before you upgrade.

Breaking changes and cautions

Two subscription pricing fields removed from Price Book Entry

The Subscription Balloon Price (s_c__Balloon_Price__c) and Subscription Setup Price (s_c__Setup_Price__c) fields have been removed from the Price Book Entry object, along with their access in the storeConnect Administrator, Order Manager, and Sync permission sets. Neither field was in use by any released subscription feature, but removing a packaged field breaks anything that still references it. Before upgrading, check your reports, list views, Liquid templates, flows, and integrations for either field name on Price Book Entry and remove the references. The same two fields remain on the Subscription object and are unaffected. [PKG-9075]

Two image formats no longer accepted for upload

.raw and .jpgxr have been removed from the accepted image formats in the media upload picker. If you upload raw camera files or JPEG XR images, convert them to a supported format such as .jpg, .png, .tiff, or .webp before uploading. Media already stored in these formats is unaffected. [PKG-9174]

New features

Console Trait Management

Product traits can now be built and managed entirely in the StoreConnect Console. The release introduces a new trait builder for creating trait categories, types, and their values in one place, with a searchable definitions tree. It adds a product trait assignment tool with category and type filters for applying trait values to products, CSV import and export of the trait catalog and product assignments, and automatic propagation of category, type, and value renames to every trait that uses them. Trait categories, types, and values also gain dedicated record pages, and traits appear directly on the product record page. Feature enhancements

More accepted media file types

The media upload picker now accepts a wider range of file types. Images add .bmp, .ico, .jp2, and .tif, while .raw and .jpgxr are no longer accepted (see Breaking changes and cautions above); the video category now also covers common audio formats such as .mp3, .aac, .flac, and .m4a (StoreConnect processes audio as the video resource type); and the general File type now accepts any non-executable file rather than a fixed short list.
